Joseph Djipie

Founder and director

With over 27 years of experience in industrial, mining, maritime, and manufacturing sectors, Joseph Djipie is the Founder and Director of DW Constructions Inc. A specialist in industrial construction and maintenance mechanics, he holds a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Industrial Mechanics,  a DEP in Welding and Fitting, as well as a High-Pressure Welding Specialization certification.

Throughout his career, Joseph has worked with major companies such as Rio Tinto Fer et Titane,  Cascades, Kruger, Domtar, and ALSTOM Transport Canada Inc. as part of the Montreal metro rolling stock project.

He has also been involved in marine repair operations for the Société des Traversiers du Québec.

His expertise includes multi-process welding (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW), all-position welding (4G to 6GR), and application of major industrial codes such as CSA W59, ASME B31.3, and API 1104. Certified as a Level 1 Visual Welding Inspector (CWB), he also brings solid experience in industrial team supervision and maintenance management using SAP systems.

Prior to founding DW Construction Inc., Joseph held supervisory positions at Rio Tinto,
where he coordinated teams, planned maintenance activities, and managed operational industrial maintenance processes.

Today, he provides his expertise to the healthcare, industrial, maritime, and pulp and paper sectors, delivering reliable, safe, and standards-compliant technical solutions.

Gilles Veilleux

Business lawyer and consultant for small and medium-sized businesses in Quebec, Gilles Veilleux has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1987 and obtained his bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Sherbrooke. 

He joined DW Constructions Inc. to take charge of legal affairs  and business development.
